Thiruvananthapuram: The Keralam Cabinet on Wednesday approved a Bill to increase the salaries and allowances of ministers and MLAs.
The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister V D Satheesan, approved the Bill a day after state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sunny Joseph said the proposal was under consideration following discussions with leaders of various political parties.
The last revision of MLAs' salaries was in 2018, he had said.
The Bill is likely to be introduced in the Assembly on Thursday.
